In the heart of the Costa Alegre, between Punta Pérula and Punta Xala, in Jalisco, the Punta Jade development is being developed, with a view of the Pacific Ocean, 2 minutes from its beaches. Initially projected with a conventional criterion, but with a social vision and in defense of the environment, the legal representative, and manager and promoter of the project, José Manuel Venegas Barraza, requested the conversion of the development to an initiative with a social and environmental vision in its 200 residential and commercial lots. 2,100 550W solar panels will be used in the project.
The electricity for the homes and businesses will be provided by state-of-the-art solar panels, which will feed the pumps of the hydraulic installation. The infrastructure of the project is completed with a biodigester and a desalination plant so as not to damage the regional underground water reserves, in addition to an urban and architectural design with environmental criteria and international standards.
This design formula will be reproduced in future projects in the region, which represents a high-level tourist hub in the Mexican Pacific that seeks to attract foreign investment, especially from North American visitors interested in a second home property.
